My Dad was excellent at cultivating creativity. He saw the opportunity one summer to realize a dream. A life long New Yorker, my Dad had a special affinity for the Bronx Botanical Gardens.
An architect by profession, my Dad was skilled at turning a beautiful idea into a detailed plan. The construction began in spring of 2015.
Over the course of the construction neighbors and friends became involved too.
The Green House is comprised of recycled windows and 4″x4″ timber framing. With a roof that can open to vent heat.
